Your child is struggling with anxiety, trauma, emotional regulation, or the unique challenges that can come with Autism Spectrum Disorder or developmental differences. You want them to feel safe, understood, and confident again, but knowing how to help can feel overwhelming. You don’t have to navigate that journey alone.
As an Associate Professional Counselor and National Certified Counselor, I am passionate about helping children, adolescents, young adults, and families heal, grow, and thrive. I earned my Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Agnes Scott College, and my clinical experience at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta (Marcus Autism Center). I have specialized training in supporting children and adolescents with Autism Spectrum Disorder and developmental disabilities while partnering closely with caregivers and families.
I am especially passionate about working with children, adolescents, and young adults who have experienced trauma and adverse childhood experiences. I believe that while trauma can profoundly impact a child’s sense of safety, identity, and relationships, healing is always possible when children feel seen, supported, and empowered. I also have a deep appreciation for play therapy because I understand that play is the natural language of children. Children often communicate their thoughts, emotions, and experiences through play long before they can put them into words. By incorporating play-based and developmentally appropriate interventions into my work, I strive to create a therapeutic environment where children feel safe to express themselves, process difficult experiences, and discover their strengths.

What Makes Me Different:
My experience working within an interdisciplinary team at Marcus Autism Center has given me specialized experience supporting neurodiverse children, adolescents, and their families. My background in child development and my passion for trauma-informed care have strengthened my belief that every child deserves an individualized approach that honors their unique experiences, strengths, and developmental needs. As a bilingual clinician fluent in both English and Arabic, I strive to provide culturally responsive, compassionate care that empowers clients and families throughout their healing journey.
