Bio

Elana is a licensed professional counselor in the state of Georgia, who is a driven, organized, and compassionate Clinical Mental Health Counselor with extensive experience working with children, teens, and adults in a variety of settings. She possesses a Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of Tennessee, and is trained to use Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) to help adult clients (ages 18+).

Elana has experience working with clients of all ages and has a specific passion for serving children and adolescents. Prior to joining our practice, Elana worked within a fast-paced community mental health environment and provided therapy in high schools. She has also worked in a residential program for foster children. Elana has experience and training in Child-Centered Play Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing, and Flash-modified EMDR. Elana is easy to connect with and has a casual, approachable style of therapy. Her focus areas include working with trauma, anxiety, depression, ADHD, stress, lack of motivation, and emotional dysregulation.
