Hello, I’m Laura! As a compassionate, person-centric clinician, my primary focus is to help you become the best version of yourself. I offer a straightforward approach infused with kind understanding, creating a supportive environment for personal growth. Holding an associate license in counseling, I am on track to complete my full licensure within the next year. I am fortunate to be under the supervision of two highly knowledgeable therapists, including Jessica Anderson, whose guidance enriches my practice. Counseling is my second career, bringing with it 23 years of experience as an occupational therapist working with adults in various settings.
My strengths lie in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and psychotherapy, which involve understanding your past to recognize and address dysfunctional patterns, leading to positive changes in the present for a healthier future. I am solution-focused and strongly believe in positive psychology, which means I help you remember your strengths while working towards better health. I primarily work with adults and have a particular interest in helping couples build stronger connections and heal through their relationships. My experience includes working with individuals facing depression, anxiety, social anxiety, grief, complex grief, and relationship issues such as separation, divorce, and infidelity.
Transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS) therapy is a non-invasive procedure that can treat symptoms of depression. Talk to our therapists to see if TMS is right for you.
