Dr. Jordan Howard is a Morehouse-trained, board-certified psychiatrist by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology (APBN). Dr. Howard earned his BA in Psychology from the University of Southern California before completing his MD degree at Windsor University. He has worked as an Associate Professor in the Morehouse School of Medicine Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences, working with medical students and residents at sites affiliated with Grady Hospital. Dr. Howard has done research and presentations in transgender healthcare at the American Psychiatry Association, among other national conferences. Dr. Howard currently offers lectures to colleagues on policies recommended by the World Professional Alliance of Transgender Health and their published Standards of Care recommendations.
Dr. Howard continues to participate as adjunct faculty with Morehouse School of Medicine and serves as a mentor while providing lectures to residents on correctional psychiatry. Dr. Howard treats individuals 17 years and older.
