Bio

Hello, my name is Abby, and I am a Licensed Associate Professional Counselor here at CNSL. I received my Bachelor’s degree in psychology for Christian Counseling from Liberty University in 2021 and I continued my education with Liberty University, receiving my Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling in 2023. I work with clients ages 12 and older.  I work with people with anxiety, ADHD, depressionlife adjustments, and other needs.

I enjoy helping clients figure out how to solve their problems on their own but with a little extra support. I use psychoeducation to help clients better understand the problems for which they are seeking help. I use Cognitive Behavior Therapy to help clients understand their problematic thinking and teach them how to change the thoughts that will change the behaviors.  I also use a mixture of theories and approaches beyond CBT, because therapy is not one size fits all. I value that everyone is different and together we will work together to find the best tools to help you move forward with your life.

Under the Direction of Linde Ferrero, LCSW, and Clinical Supervision of Jessica Hallam Anderson, LPC, CPCS, RPT-S
