Jess May sees clients for in-person therapy sessions at the Woodstock location, and offers telehealth therapy sessions.

Bio

Jess’s goal in therapy is to help clients grow and connect with their most authentic selves. They are passionate about working with people experiencing depression, anxiety, trauma, grief and loss, self-esteem challenges, and life transitions. As a queer and nonbinary person, Jess is uniquely tuned into the needs of gender expansive individuals and enjoys working with LGBTQ+ folks. Jess is happy to see clients who are Christian and may hold more progressive views.

Jess got their undergraduate degree at Kennesaw State University where they earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree with a concentration in Drawing and Painting. Jess graduated from the University of Central Florida with a Master of Social Work degree and completed their clinical internship at CNSL. Jess is currently pursuing their clinical licensure under the direct supervision of Katie Landers, LPC.

Jess works to make people feel comfortable and safe in sessions. They lean towards strengths-based, somatic, existential, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and mindfulness-based interventions, and is trained in internal family systems (IFS) informed therapy. Jess works with ages 18 and up.

Jess sees clients in person at our Woodstock location:

She offers Telehealth sessions Monday through Thursday.
