Meghean’s main drive is to connect with individuals and build a strong therapeutic relationship with her clients while working side-by-side with them to overcome the challenges they have faced. She is dedicated to mutual respect and a client-centered approach. Meghean uses several approaches to working with clients and recognizes that everyone is unique and needs a therapist who is willing to be flexible and provide the client with what they need. Meghean’s passion is working with clients to overcome trauma, as well as depression, anxiety, self-harm, and suicidal ideations. She mainly works with adolescents to young adults but is also willing to work with anyone who feels she may be a good fit for them!
Meghean graduated from Kennesaw State University with a Bachelor’s in Psychology in 2018. Before returning to grad school, she worked with young boys in foster care and then moved on to be an advocate for victims of assault. After her time in the field, Meghean went back to Kennesaw State University to pursue her Master’s degree in Social Work. While there, she worked in a residential treatment facility with adolescents and teens. Upon graduation in 2021, she provided in-home therapy for children, adolescents, and teenagers who struggled with suicidal ideations and other behavioral challenges. Meghean currently holds an Associate Level license in social work and is pursuing her Clinical License under the supervision of a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). Meghean has training in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART).
