Megan Walsh Masters Level Pre-licensed Therapist

Megan Walsh sees clients for in-person therapy sessions at the Marietta and Woodstock locations, and offers telehealth therapy sessions.

Bio

Megan Walsh holds a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from UCLA, and a Master of Social Work from SDSU. Megan has spent over 20 years in the social work field and her previous work has been at a variety of non-profit agencies serving foster youth and she was the director of a senior center.

Megan was a GaLEND trainee in 2022-23. She is also the Founder of Bridges to Understanding which is a support group in East Cobb for families who have children with disabilities.

Megan has recently moved back to Georgia with her husband and two sons who keep her busy and always entertained! Previously licensed in California, she is now in process of getting licensed in Georgia. She is working under the direction and supervision of Bonnie Klopach, LCSW.

Her approach to therapy begins with building trust with the client in a safe and non-judgmental environment. She is focused on working with the client’s strengths to build resilience while also helping heal from past trauma. Megan works with the client to find solutions and create a space for lasting change and healing. She enjoys working with adolescents, young adults, adults, and seniors for in-person therapy sessions at our Marietta office and virtual telehealth therapy sessions. She utilizes a wide range of therapeutic modalities such as solution focused therapy, trauma focused therapy, and internal family systems.
