Katie Cooley sees clients for in-person therapy sessions at the Woodstock location, and offers telehealth therapy sessions.
Katelyn Cooley is passionate about people—all people. She genuinely believes that one of the most beautiful things about being human is that no two of us are exactly alike. That’s what makes her work so rewarding! As your therapist, Katie’s goal is simple: to meet you where you are and walk with you through the ups, downs, and everything in between.
She’s not here to “fix” you—because you’re not broken. Katie believes you are the expert of your own story. Her job is to create a space that feels safe, supportive, and totally judgment-free, so you can explore what’s going on in your life, reconnect with yourself, and make the changes that feel right for you. Her therapeutic approach is rooted in a foundational belief that healing happens in connection. She’s all about deep listening, honest conversations, and realistic solutions—with a healthy dash of compassion and humor when it’s needed most.
Katie is currently earning her Master of Science in Counseling at the University of North Georgia and is a graduate-level counseling intern under the supervision of Elana Durden, LPC. She’s especially passionate about helping people work through anxiety, depression, self-esteem and body image challenges, addiction, and more. Prior to her work at CNSL, Katie was a full-time nanny throughout her higher education. She deeply enjoys working with clients of all ages and tailors her approach to fit each person’s unique situation.
Outside of the therapy room, Katie enjoys trying new coffee spots, taking her dog to the dog park, spending time with loved ones, and anything outdoors. She brings that same curiosity, warmth, and down-to-earth energy into her work with clients.
Transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS) therapy is a non-invasive procedure that can treat symptoms of depression. Talk to our therapists to see if TMS is right for you.
