

Karen Dodge sees clients for in-person therapy sessions at the Woodstock location, and offers telehealth therapy sessions.
Karen Dodge is a licensed associated professional counselor and a national certified counselor, who earned her Master of Science degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Walden University and her Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Shorter University. Karen is working under the supervision and direction of Jessica Hallam Anderson, MS, LPC, CPCS, RPT-S.
She works mainly with children, adolescents, and young adult women. She has a diverse background working with children as a teacher, case worker, and counselor. Karen enjoys helping children and adults navigate their complex feelings, teaching them ways to cope with life’s stressors, and providing a safe space for people to be themselves in the therapy room.
Karen is pursuing additional play therapy training and mainly works from a Child-Centered Play Therapy model. With adults and older children, she utilizes a Person-Centered and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) model, while also tailoring skills best suited for each client. She is currently in progress of obtaining her Registered Play Therapist credential.
