Ansley Snowden is a Graduate Level Counseling Intern at Albany State University and is expected to graduate in May 2025. She holds a Bachelor of Social Work (BSW) degree from the University of Georgia. Ansley has a diverse background working with individuals across various age groups, including roles such as special education teacher, behavior technician, case manager, and college career advisor. Her passion for therapeutic work stems from her desire to empower others to live fulfilling lives by equipping them with essential coping skills. The tools she uses include cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), solutions-focused therapy (SFBT), and mindfulness. Ansley is working at our practice under the supervision of Michelle Sobel, LCSW. She plans to gain licensure under supervision upon graduation while also pursuing advanced training in DBT, child-centered play therapy, and Autplay to further support children and young adults in achieving their goals.
